This is a wonderful craft project that you can do with your child (I would say 6 year old onwards). This is not only a craft but also a fun science project. Moms can even make it and use it to release stress - so, it’s actually multi-purpose. The materials needed can be bought at your local grocery store. Hey, you may even already have it in your kitchen pantry. Take a look and gather your materials. Round up the kids and start making some flubber!

This is a fun and easy craft project perfect for those who enjoy making paper crafts and love using rubber stamps. You can certainly use your own design - using this video tutorial just as a guide. The instructor used Stampin Up’ materials but I am sure if you had existing rubber stamps then, you could use those too. You will need lollipops, card stock, paper trimmer, puncher, rubber stamps and inks and your creativity. This is simply a variation of the previous video on “how to Cover a notepad”. This time, we are using a non-spiral notebook. Again, you can use your own creativity. I can see this could be addicting. If you are on a tight budget, it would be nice to make these as Christmas presents for family members or even your kids’ teachers. This is a clever and creative project. This is a neat gift idea where the instructor shows how to cover a regular notepad using existing scrapbook materials and rubber stamps to decorate a boring and inexpensive notepad. To complete this project, you will need: a note pad, card stock (in various colors), adhesives, ribbons, hole puncher, scissors, rubber stamp and ink and your imagination. If you are not all that creative, you can borrow her ideas to come up with a similar one or you can go crazy and let your creativity come out. This project is so much fun! It can be used for party favors or goodies bags for pretty much any theme. It would be fun to do this for Halloween or Easter or even Christmas. You can also make some fun Valentine treats if you wanted. You will need card stock, ribbon, rubber stamps and ink, scissors, and TicTacs. If you are up to it, you can apply the same technique for bigger packaged candy or gum.

This is a fun and easy tutorial that walks you through how to make an easy envelope treat bag - this is great for party favors or for giving fun little gifts (like candy or even gift cards). The instructor used Stampin’ Up materials but I am sure you can use materials that you already have. You will need a regular envelope, a paper trimmer, decorative scissors, rubber stamps and ink, ribbon and brads. I can see myself doing this project around Christmas time - using Christmas Theme stamps and using them to decorate the tree with gift cards for presented.

Here is a fun project that you can do with little boy (or girl I guess). This is a clay project where the instructor walks us though how to make a clay dinosaur. I guess it would be fun if you had some pictures you can base your clay project on or if not … using your imagination will work too. T-shirts with painted handprints are more than just a craft. They are a snapshot to help you remember your child when they were little.

• Get a new t-shirt in your child’s favorite color.
• With fabric paint in a shallow bowl, allow your child to place their hands into the paint. Immediately help them put their hands on the t-shirt.
• As an alternative, they could place their thumbs or fingers in the paint and place several prints together to form a caterpillar.
• Help your child wash their hands thoroughly with soap.
• When the paint has dried, use paint markers to write the date and name on their t-shirt. Finish off the caterpillar by drawing on a face, feet, and antennae.

Pompom caterpillars are furry friends you won’t mind finding in your toddler’s pocket.

• Get three pompoms, the same size, in varying colors.
• Glue the pompoms together in a line.
• Glue on the wiggly eyes.
• Mom, you may want to hot glue the caterpillars onto a clothes pin with a magnet and use them to show off your child’s other artwork.

Finger Painting - Let your budding artist create by making edible finger paints with sweetened condensed milk and food coloring.

• Mix together small amounts of the condensed milk with a couple of drops of food coloring.
• Give the child a sheet of paper on which to create their work of art.
• Don’t worry if they put the paint in their mouth, it’s yummy.
• Wash their hands quickly to keep the food coloring from staining their hands.
